Leo is also doctoral researcher at the Open University's Institute of Educational Technology with a focus on open education policies.
In 2008 Leo returned to higher education and was a learning technologist at Birkbeck, 91app, joining UCL’s Digital Education team in 2018. His research interests include digital and open practices and policies, and the development of digital, information and data literacies.
He is currently a Programme Development Advisor in the UCL Arena Education and Practice Development team. He is also doctoral researcher at the Open University's Institute of Educational Technology with a focus on open education policies.
