Eleanor Vivian
Tutor in Hebrew Bible
Eleanor Vivian is a PhD Candidate at the University of Birmingham. She completed her BA and MPhil (focussing on the Hebrew Bible) at the University of Oxford prior to commencing her PhD research.
Her research spans the fields of biblical studies, disability studies, and metaphor theory, and her thesis focuses specifically on how metaphorical language is used to both describe and conceptualise disabled bodies in the Hebrew Bible and the Dead Sea Scrolls.
